Revolutionizing industry solutions with end to end AIOps: Unlocking 5G, Network as a Service and Satellite communication for a sustainable connected future

As different vertical industries increasingly rely on hybrid and complementing connectivity options like 5G and Satellite communications, ensuring round-the-clock, consistent service experience across complex and multi layered networks has become a daunting challenge. Phase II of this catalyst builds upon previous phase, leveraging emerging technologies and standards to provide an integrated approach for enhanced service and network experiences across diverse communication domains and provide recommendations for more resilient and adaptive networks aligned with TM Forum Autonomous Network framework. By utilizing end-to-end AIOps, it targets to deliver Control Loop automation aligned to Maturity Level 4 navigating Service Providers towards improved operational efficiency across the entire network ecosystem through a holistic, cross-domain approach.

The main objective of this catalyst is to demonstrate working prototype of Autonomous Network Control Loop framework targeting Autonomous Network (AN) maturity level 4. Towards this goal, ReNOVATE AI Phase II will be showcasing two usecases adopting 2 different AIOps based solution approaches for network and service assurance. Use Cases 1. First use case focuses on close loop assurance within RAN autonomous domain where in alarms are collected from the Radio Access Layer and a rule-based alarm co-relation and de-duplication algorithm in ServiceNow does the Root Cause Analysis finally triggering the resolution steps towards network via orchestration platform. We demonstrate how a Linkdown fault occuring in RAN network due to some configuration issue is auto-resolved within few minutes. 2. Second use case is targeting cross domain closed loop assurance for degraded Voice Quality for VoLTE calls leveraging Network Performance metrics collected from RAN, Transport and Core/IMS network. These metrics are collected and analyzed using Bespoke AIOps platform build using HyperScalars service blocks for Anomaly detection and Root Cause Analysis. The analytics pipelines leverages Voice Stream KPIS and Performance KPIs from all network domains to drill-down into potential contributors to Voice media issues. This collective intelligence is recorded as new Incidents on ServiceNow platform enriched with actionable insights thus paving way for quick resolution of underlying problem by NOC team. TMF Alignment This Catalyst solution is being implemented in compliance with the AN framework paving way for the future Self-X networks which would be self-optimized leading to substantial operational efficiency. Catalyst demonstrates usage of ODA concepts and TMF Standard Open API for integration between different OSS components which enables operators in reducing integration costs and avoid vendor lock-in. Benefits All this AI-led automation promises to deliver significant efficieny improvement in Network Operations for Service provider through measures like over 90% reduction in Event Noise through de-duplication, auto-remediation of most common faults etc. Service providers also improves customer experience quotient through better Service availability and proactive resolution of service quality issues.
